So easy to get startet:

Download, Unzip, Dobbelt Click Setup.exe, fill Serial Number with zeroes - you are finished installing!
Open VS.NET IDE with an ASP.NET project, drag SlidingMenu from Toolbox Web Forms tab, hit ctrl-F5 - a default SlidingMenu is running in your browser!

One step at a time:

1. Download the appropriate SlidingMenu_v2_0 installer .zip-file.
2. Unzip the SlidingMenu_v2_0_ installer .zip-file to some directory of your choice (the .zip-file contains from 2 to 6 files depending on the installer you choose).
3. Be sure you have administrator privileges before install.
4. Close all open instances of VS.NET IDE (otherwhise SlidingMenu will not install to Toolbox)
5. Double click the setup.exe (if you have installed the earlier GroupedCollection, read note1 below).
6. In the "Select Installation Folder" dialog box you are prompted with the question "Install SlidingMenu for yourself, or for anyone who uses this computer.", you can choose "Everyone".
7. In the "Customer Information" dialog box you are prompted for a Serial number. If you have not bought a valid license, you can obtain a Freeware version by filling the Serial number with zeroes. ( Read more about the license schemes).

WebMatrix users

: After install, open WebMatrix with an .aspx-page in Design view, open the Custom Controls header in the Toolbox and right click the Custom Controls canvas and choose "Add Local Toolbox Components..." from the context menu to open the "Select Components" dialog box. In the dialog box "Select Components" press on the Browse button and navigate to the folder where you installed the SlidingMenu. In that folder you can find Webmodelling.SlidingMenu.dll, select that file and press the Open button to return to the "Select Components" dialob box and press the OK button. WebMatrix now presents you with the opportunity to add the SlidingMenu to GAC (Global Assembly Cache) - it's up to you, however if you are unsure about the implications of your choice, I recommend to install to GAC for easy development (however, if deploying to a machine different from your development machine, remember to be sure that Webmodelling.SlidingMenu.dll is in the bin-folder of your deployment project or install Webmodelling.SlidingMenu.dll to GAC on the target machine as well).
More information about the install process is available in the Install_HowTo.txt file contained in the SlidingMenu_v2_0 installer .zip-file.
note1:
If you have installed the earlier version, GroupedCollection version 1.0, you must remove that version before you can install the new version, SlidingMenu version 2.0 The best way to do that is to go to "Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | GroupedCollection" and choose Remove. After deinstall GroupedCollection and install Slidingmenu, be sure to read How to Upgrade
