Layers !
Sliding z-piled layers is all what the SlidingMenu is about. SlidingMenu is highly configurable supporting both efficient and creative use of web space at the ease of HTML inline tags alone. Try to click on the Corner Details header in the bottom of this simple 2 layer stack.
Before you continue, you should be aware that the SlidingMenu is a .Net WebControl for use with ASP.NET and that you can only use the SlidingMenu if you are building ASP.NET websites.
SlidingMenu support databinding and nesting of the usual WebControls like the DataGrid. Also SlidingMenu have the same relationship to a DataSet as DataGrid have to a DataTable (which potentially makes a strong tool for CMS and Data Reporting).
