|
| You must be able to run ASP.NET version 1.0 or higher. |
|
|
|
| SlidingMenu can currently build 2
clients, an uplevel client and a downlevel client. The uplevel client will be
sent to IE5+ whatever the OS, while the downlevel client will be sent to
ALL other browsers (even if it corresponds to, it has nothing to do with the Microsoft definition of the same). The uplevel client is dynamically advanced and is explained throughout
this website. The downlevel client is static and is provided to secure
that browsers not supporting the advanced client will still render information. The
downlevel client will try to render the same GUI as the uplevel client,
but will have some shortcomings, most importantly not being able to client dynamically
slide through z-piled layers, instead then clicking on a GroupHeader a postback is initiated
effectively forcing the browser to reload before presenting the GroupCanvas
information of a new Group. Therefore you can say that the uplevel client is client dynamic, while the
downlevel client is server dynamic. |
| |
| The uplevel client will supposedly hit 95-96 % of all browsers
(depending on your target group). |

SlidingMenu is tested
in the browsers below. (It should be said that if an Opera browser identify as
MSIE, the Opera browser will behave unpredictably). |
